I would add Sunken Temple to the list of "Places where I'm hopelessly lost without a guide." Stockades is a place I'm also not very fond of for about the same reasons - it's dull, boring and doesn't give very much by way of loot. However, the one redeeming factor for me was those quests you mention. The place ties up a lot of 'loose ends' in some pretty nice quest chains. Sunken Temple I was also mixed on as I love all things trollish in lore but found the place utterly confusing! Like you say - it's a bit of an upstairs, downstairs, round the corner oh here's a boss, now more stairs... sorta place. Even now I don't think I could find my way around it. Hehe. Stockades is a place I’m also not very fond of for about the same reasons – it’s dull, boring and doesn’t give very much by way of loot. However, the one redeeming factor for me was those quests you mention. The place ties up a lot of ‘loose ends’ in some pretty nice quest chains.
